About Kaizen Ski
KAIZEN SKI was created based on the philosophy of improvement and excellence, in which every day we must look for new opportunities to improve. We have developed our work in the snow industry in different continents, appreciating and learning from the local techniques of each of our winter destinations, in such a way that today we bring together a wide technical and personalized repertoire to offer you. All our professionals are certified in alpine ski training, mountain safety and first aid, providing safety, learning and fun in all our services.

KS makes the difference
Our key distinction lies in our technique, the high-quality content of our services, and our ability to impart knowledge in a personalized way—tailored to each student's needs and aspirations.
Anyone can learn to ski, but not everyone can teach you or refine your technique. At Kaizen, we provide a truly personalized and exceptional experience, where you’ll find expertise, dedication, and a profound understanding of alpine skiing.
Selecting the right coach is crucial. That’s why at Kaizen, we uphold the highest technical standards for our instructors, ensuring top-tier guidance.
Additionally, our Freeride tours are among our most sought-after services, as they offer a unique and special experience that sets us apart.
We craft unforgettable snow experiences.

More than ski trainings
Beyond ski training sessions, the added value we offer is a deep understanding of snow and mountain culture.
Whether you're joining us for a season, a week, or just a day, your snow experience will be unique and unforgettable, you'll be eager to return as soon as possible.
A little more about the way
With over 20 years of experience in the world of snow, working across three continents and six countries as a professional coach, and holding world-renowned certifications—including Japanese qualifications—Kaizen Ski founder Javier Alvarez has dedicated the last seven winters to living in Nozawa Onsen. Captivated by its exceptional snow conditions, rich Japanese culture, and unique charm, he chose this village as the starting point for this long-awaited project.
Currently, we are competing in the Tokyo Preliminary Technical Ski Championships, with Javier being the only foreigner in the competition.

Safety First
Three basic pillars in our methodology and work dynamics: safety, fun, and learning.
We strictly comply with this order of priorities in all our services to guarantee your best experience in the mountains.
